The renewed Cerasafe Pro frying pan series is 100% PFAS-free and guarantees healthy cooking. HEIROL Cerasafe Pro products have a ceramic, titanium-reinforced coating that is entirely free from PFAS chemicals that are harmful to the well-being of people and nature.
An alternative to a PTFE-based coating containing PFAS-chemicals is a PFAS-free sol-gel coating, the main component of which are the second most common element of the crust of the Earth, the inorganic and organic salts of silicon, the silicon oxide, sodium silicate and methylthrimethoxysilane along with water.
The sol-gel technology allows the production of environmentally friendly coatings, prepared in low temperatures whilst saving energy, suitable for different materials.
