Psst! The idea for these upside-down mills came after the CEO of HEIROL, Rolf Moborg, had wiped crumbs of salt and pepper off the table a few times too many. Rolf then drew an image of the upside-down mill on a sheet of paper, sent it to the factory, and told them that HEIROL needs to have this as part of the selection as it helps people’s everyday life!

The mills come with a knob on the top, which allows you to adjust the
roughness by rotating it. The tighter the knob is, the finer the grain, and
vice versa. Do not tighten the knob too much to avoid damaging the machinery.
We recommend keeping the knob open for at least one full turn.

Clean with a dry or damp cloth. The mill is not waterproof, so it shouldn’t be made wet nor put underwater. The mill can be used for
other purposes than just grinding pepper, for example, dried herbs. Do not use
the mill on top of a steaming pot, as the humidity might get inside the mill.
