What we love about Fall, is that Finnish nature offers many wonderful and healthy flavors that we can gather and store for Winter.
Apples are a prime example! They offer a variety of treats to make from them, such as pies or apple sauce, that can be paired with your morning oatmeal or other baked goods!

Firstly, dice the apples. Add all the ingredients into a pot and heat until the apples are soft.
Use a food mill to puree the ingredients.
Clean your glass jars in boiling water and dry them.
Portion the batch of applesauce in glass jars, wait until the applesauce has cooled down, and place in the fridge.
Enjoy with oatmeal, yogurt, pancakes, or use when baking!
